Effects of combined metformin and semaglutide therapy on body weight, metabolic parameters, and reproductive outcomes in overweight/obese women with polycystic ovary syndrome: a prospective, randomized, controlled, open-label clinical trial
CONCLUSION: Compared to MET monotherapy, combination therapy with semaglutide and MET significantly reduced body weight, improved insulin resistance, decreased inflammatory markers, alleviated and menstrual irregularities and increased natural pregnancy rates in overweight/obese women with PCOS.

Disease activity and treatment response in early rheumatoid arthritis: an exploratory metabolomic profiling in the NORD-STAR cohort
CONCLUSIONS: Our study has identified several baseline metabolites and metabolic pathways associated with disease activity and response to different treatments in early RA. By integrating metabolomics and clinical data, we developed predictive models for response to treatment in early RA, though their predictive performance remains limited.

Safety findings from the phase 1/2 MOSAIC study of miransertib for patients with PIK3CA-related overgrowth spectrum or Proteus syndrome
CONCLUSION: Miransertib was safe and tolerable in participants with a confirmed diagnosis of PROS or Proteus syndrome. Future investigations are needed to determine whether patients receive measurable clinical benefit from miransertib.

The VIP trial: a randomised controlled trial of the clinical effectiveness of a Victim Improvement Package (VIP) for the reduction of continued symptoms of depression or anxiety in older victims of community crime in an English city
CONCLUSIONS: Community crime had long-lasting impacts. The police are ideally placed to screen for distress, present in 35% of victims, but only 58% of participants were recruited and the cognitive-behavioural therapy was not delivered competently. Further research on victim care and improving the delivery and quality of therapy is required.

Adherence to Quality-of-Care Indicators and Mortality Outcomes in Patients With MRSA Bacteremia: A Post Hoc Analysis of the CAMERA2 Randomized Clinical Trial
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: In this post hoc analysis of a randomized clinical trial, health care practitioners of trial participants had greater adherence to QCIs for MRSA bacteremia management compared with practitioners of nontrial patients. Trial participation was not associated with lower mortality.

Modified Target Delineation and Moderately Hypofractionated Radiotherapy for High-Grade Glioma: A Randomized Clinical Trial
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: In this randomized clinical trial, modified target delineation with HSIB-IMRT demonstrated comparable PFS and OS to standard IMRT in patients with newly diagnosed HGG, while significantly reducing the irradiation target volume without increasing the recurrence rates outside the target volume. Effect of Ciprofol on Postoperative Delirium in Elderly Patients Undergoing Hip Surgery: A Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSION: In this study, we found that ciprofol was associated with a lower incidence of POD and had a minimal impact on circulatory function. SIRT3 expression and POD were correlated. A serum SIRT3 level less than 1.565 ng/mL on postoperative day 1 may indicate a likelihood of POD, highlighting its potential diagnostic value.

Feasibility of a Randomized Controlled Trial of Large AI-Based Linguistic Models for Clinical Reasoning Training of Physical Therapy Students: Pilot Randomized Parallel-Group Study
CONCLUSIONS: While LLMs have the potential to enhance specific digital competencies in physical therapy students, their practical integration into the curriculum faces challenges. Future studies should focus on improving student engagement with LLMs and extending the training period to determine the feasibility of integrating this tool into physical therapy education and maximize benefits.
