SLE-DAS enables an accurate definition of severe lupus disease activity: derivation and validation in a post hoc study of anifrolumab phase II and III studies
CONCLUSION: The SLE-DAS cut-off for SDA provides an accurate definition of SDA in SLE, with good discriminative power and consistent associations with worse HR-QoL. This SLE-DAS definition enhances disease activity classification and offers a practical tool for guiding treatment decisions in clinical practice, as well as selecting patients with SDA for inclusion in clinical trials.

Outcomes of the linking exercise for advancing daily stress (LEADS) management and resilience randomized pilot trial in African American adolescents and families
CONCLUSIONS: This pilot feasibility trial demonstrates the acceptabity and feasibiity of integrating culturally sensitive strength-based interventions for African American families to promote health promotion behaviors and coping.

Cost-consequence analysis of an e-health intervention to reduce distress in dementia carers: results from the iSupport randomised controlled trial
CONCLUSION: Use of iSupport was associated with reduced health and social care resource use costs for carers compared with care-as-usual. Self-guided e-health interventions for dementia carers may have the potential to reduce health and social care resource use and wider societal costs, but evidence relating to their effectiveness and cost-effectiveness is lacking.

The role of comprehensive geriatric assessment in older patients affected by knee osteoarthritis: an exploratory randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: CGA may offer potential benefits for managing knee OA in older adults, particularly for pain and function, though statistical significance was not achieved. Larger studies with longer follow-up are warranted to confirm these findings.

Results of treatment of acute uncomplicated cystitis in 440 women of working age in a large industrial city
CONCLUSIONS: Currently, even in unfavorable environmental and climatic conditions, fosfomycin trometamol remains a highly effective and safe antibacterial agent for the treatment of acute uncomplicated cystitis. It is recommended to combine the use of fosfomycin trometamol with a urinary analgetic drug and herbal preparation based on extracts of centaury, lovage and rosemary (Kanefron N).

Comparison of the effects of pemafibrate and omega-3 fatty acid ethyl on fatty liver index in patients with dyslipidemia treated with statin: a sub-analysis from the PROUD48 study
CONCLUSIONS: Pemafibrate is superior to omega-3 fatty acid ethyl in lowering effects of FLI and MASLD in patients with dyslipidemia receiving statin treatment, suggesting that pemafibrate is a beneficial agent for hypertriglyceridemia and reduction of the risk for MASLD.

Appropriate semantic qualifiers increase diagnostic accuracy when using a clinical decision support system: a randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: Medical students may make more accurate diagnoses using the CDSS if appropriate SQs are set. Improving students’ ability to set appropriate SQs may improve the effectiveness of CDSS use.

Effectiveness of Internet-Based Emotion-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (iECBT) with and without husband’s participation in improvement of psychological distress in pregnant women with anxiety disorders: a randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: As iECBT with the husband’s participation was not superior to iECBT alone, further studies should evaluate proper strategies to increase men’s effective role in the treatment of their pregnant partners with psychological disorders.
