CONCLUSION: Treatment of class III malocclusion in growing patients by both appliances did not negatively affect PROMs. Moreover, the application of both appliances was associated with a gradual improvement in the levels of pain and functional impairments until they were almost nonexistent after 6 months.

BACKGROUND: Patients with frailty and newly diagnosed multiple myeloma have worse outcomes due to higher rates of adverse events (AEs) and treatment discontinuation. This study evaluated a dexamethasone-sparing regimen of daratumumab plus lenalidomide versus lenalidomide plus dexamethasone in frail patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma.

CONCLUSIONS: The study regimen was effective and well-tolerated in this pediatric population with AD. Improvements occurred as early as day 1, with a rapid reduction in pruritus and increased well-being.

Atopic dermatitis (AD), a chronic inflammatory skin disease, is typically treated with topical corticosteroids in patients with mild to moderate disease, creating an ongoing need for nonsteroidal therapies. As part of a phase 2, randomized, dose-ranging study of ruxolitinib (Janus kinase [JAK]1/JAK2 inhibitor) cream, twice-daily 1.5% ruxolitinib cream was compared with twice-daily 0.1% triamcinolone cream…

CONCLUSIONS: Both DC routine and KT significantly improved melasma after 3 months of use. DC further improved melasma when replacing KT for 3 further months, with similar results when used alone for 6 months.

CONCLUSION: The results of this study suggest that stretching the LD-TLF complex may be a beneficial addition to the conventional physiotherapy approach for patients with CLBP. Specifically, LD-TLF complex stretching, when used in combination with conventional physiotherapy, appears to provide improved pain thresholds, decreased pain sensitivity and pain during activity, as well as reduced disability…

CONCLUSION: Intraoperative direct ACB demonstrated an opioid-sparing effect when combined with PAI. By performing ACB intraoperatively, no additional space, cost, or manpower was required, and patients did not need an additional catheter for pain control. Direct ACB is a simple and safe procedure that can facilitate recovery after TKA.

CONCLUSIONS: This process evaluation highlights the SUGAR Handshake’s potential for broader implementation and scale-up. By addressing identified barriers, future educational interventions may enhance adherence, improve patient outcomes, and advance hypoglycaemia management in diabetes care.

CONCLUSION: The incorporation of ML into AC led to a substantial decrease in cardiac biomarkers confirming the feasibility of incorporating ML in individuals with breast cancer as an auxiliary treatment to prevent DOX-induced cardiotoxicity. Trial registration ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT05959889.

CONCLUSIONS: TransPRK has good postoperative visual quality, but its advantages may be mediated by its larger optical zone design. In terms of night vision performance, SMILE surgery can effectively preserve the biomechanical properties of the cornea, while FS-LASIK achieved comparable 6-month acuity; we did not assess time-to-recovery. Selection of surgical modality should be individualized based…
