Indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence guided lymph node mapping for determination of resection margins in colon cancer — ISCAPE trial
CONCLUSIONS: In this trial, metastatic LNs were confined within ICG AFL in 95.6% of pN + cases. Although the predefined sensitivity threshold was not met, the result suggests potential for ICG mapping to guide resection margins in colon cancer surgery.

Evaluating the impact of easy-to-understand patient letters after discharge on patients’ health literacy: a randomized controlled study
CONCLUSIONS: Patient letters were associated with higher post-intervention health literacy in cardiologic patients and were well received. These results suggest that broad implementation of patient letters may benefit both patients and healthcare providers by enhancing patients’ understanding of medical information regarding diagnoses and treatment, potentially contributing to improved health-related outcomes.

Intravascular Imaging vs Angiography Guidance for PCI of Severely Calcified Lesions: The ECLIPSE Trial
CONCLUSIONS: IVI guidance during PCI of severely calcified lesions was associated with improved 1-year clinical outcomes compared with angiographic guidance alone, whether OA or BA was used for vessel preparation prior to drug-eluting stent placement. The adjusted difference in 1-year TVF rates were not significantly different with optical coherence tomographic guidance and IVUS guidance.

A randomized prospective clinical study evaluating the effectiveness of the Beautibond Xtreme adhesive system using different bonding techniques in class I and II restorations: one-year results
CONCLUSION: The Beautibond Xtreme adhesive system demonstrated better clinical performance when applied with total-etch or selective enamel etching techniques compared to the self-etch mode for both Class I and Class II restorations after one year of follow-up.

Early substrate-based catheter ablation vs. antiarrhythmic drug therapy for ventricular tachyarrhythmias among patients with prior myocardial infarction: the MANTRA-VT randomized trial
CONCLUSION: Early substrate-based RFCA was associated with reduced risk of ICD therapies, but with no meaningful difference in VT/VF burden, mortality, hospitalization, and adverse events.

Long-acting intranasal insulin for the treatment of delirium-a randomised clinical trial
CONCLUSION AND RELEVANCE: This is the first study of intranasal insulin for delirium treatment. The reduced LOS combined with the observed age-related effects warrants further investigation into the clinical potential of intranasal insulin in managing delirium in older patients.
