Impact of vaginal microbiota on the clinical efficacy and long-term recurrence of ketoconazole suppositories in treating severe vulvovaginal candidiasis: a secondary analysis of a multicentre randomised trial
CONCLUSION: The vaginal microbiota, particularly the dominant bacteria, may influence treatment efficacy and recurrence rates. In the treatment of severe vulvovaginal candidiasis, ketoconazole suppositories are not inferior to miconazole nitrate vaginal capsules in clinical efficacy and have a lower long-term recurrence rate.

Impact of desflurane versus isoflurane on early cognitive function of the elderly undergoing lumbar surgery: a randomized clinical trial
CONCLUSION: Desflurane had less impact on postoperative cognitive function of the elderly patients and had less interference with expression of LINC01844. The relative level of LINC01844 in peripheral blood may be a potential biomarker for POCD.

Association of blood pressure control with atrial and ventricular ectopy in SPRINT
CONCLUSION: Intensive BP control did not reduce the incidence of cardiac ectopy in patients with hypertension. Given the variable nature of PAC and PVC burden, further studies with continuous monitoring or more frequent sampling in larger populations are warranted.

Nudging Emergency Department Clinicians to Reduce Unnecessary Diagnostic Test Ordering: A Multi-Arm Vignette-Based Experiment
