Sociodemographic characteristics of patients throughout the recruitment process into a randomized, controlled behavioral trial
CONCLUSIONS: Following a recruitment process of patients identified in the EHR, people with diabetes, males, Hispanics, and Spanish speakers were less likely to participate in a physical activity behavior trial for patients with diabetes or prediabetes, with no apparent differences in neighborhood deprivation.

Comparison of the influence of 1% and 0.01% atropine on the corneal topography in myopic children
CONCLUSION: We found that 1% or 0.01% atropine had a minor impact on the corneal topography. Longitudinal alterations in corneal geometry are predominantly ascribable to physiological ocular growth and myopic progression rather than to atropine exposure.

Effects of narrative nursing on delirium and outcomes in mechanically ventilated ICU patients: a randomized trial
CONCLUSION: A structured narrative nursing intervention reduced the incidence and duration of delirium among mechanically ventilated ICU patients, improved selected clinical outcomes, and increased patient satisfaction. Limitations include the single-center design, modest sample size, and limited blinding, which may introduce bias. Multicenter, adequately powered, prospectively registered randomized trials are warranted to confirm these findings.

CONCLUSIONS: With the proposed modifications implemented, the RCT is deemed feasible for investigating the effectiveness of a 10-week HRV-F intervention for adults with chronic SCI.
