Impact of Xpert® Carba-R-based screening for carbapenem-resistant organisms on infection-related mortality in hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients
CONCLUSIONS: Our study showed a positive effect of more rapid CRO colonization screening using rectal swabs with Xpert Carba-R and culture, which can guide potent CRO preemptive therapy for subsequent infections based on the detected carbapenemase mechanism, thereby reducing mortality and the spread of CRO infection in HSCT patients.

Regional multi-center randomized trial of three vonoprazan-amoxicillin dosing regimens for Helicobacter pylori eradication in Sichuan Province, China
CONCLUSION: VPZ-AMO dual therapy achieved excellent eradication, safety, and patient compliance. All regimens were similarly effective, whereas the 0.5 g QID dosing strategy offered the most favorable balance of efficacy and tolerability, supporting its use as a first-line option in high-prevalence settings.

Functional, Radiological, and Scapular Motion Evaluation of Surgical Versus Nonsurgical Treatment of Type 3 Acromioclavicular Dislocations: A Randomized Controlled Trial With 24 months’ Follow-up
CONCLUSION: Surgical management of type 3 AC joint dislocations resulted in similar DASH scores and range of motion compared with nonoperative management, although some secondary outcomes-including higher UCLA scores and cosmetic satisfaction scores-favored surgery.The trial was registered in the Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trials (RBR-4r6jhy6).

Telehealth insulin titration in adults with diabetes: a randomized controlled trial comparing bluetooth-enabled versus traditional glucometers
CONCLUSION: BTG did not demonstrate glycemic superiority over TG in telehealth insulin titration; however, its association with reduced emergency department visits suggests potential benefits for healthcare utilization. Future studies should investigate the integration of BTG with comprehensive diabetes care platforms, with a focus on long-term outcomes and cost-effectiveness.
