CONCLUSIONS: The findings support the use of the mLab+ app as a tool for assisting consumers in self-testing for HIV and syphilis. The limitations of the study design warrant further examination outside of clinic settings to better understand the utility of these tools for improving consumer health outcomes.

CONCLUSION: Compared with OP, ESSA is equally safe and effective, but more cosmetic and conducive to preserving functions of the anterior cervical region. ESSA can be considered an alternative approach to OP in hemithyroidectomy and CND.

Effects of Chinese pediatric therapeutic massage on the management of functional constipation in children: A randomized single blind trial
CONCLUSION: Chinese pediatric Tuina therapy significantly improved FC symptoms caused by food stagnation with interior heat/inflammation in the studied population, with Han’s style having certain advantages. The Chinese Tuina therapy used in the study could be recommended as an alternative management approach for FC in children.

Comparing the surgical outcomes of femto laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS) versus conventional phacoemulsification (CP) in nanophthalmic eyes
CONCLUSION: Both FLACS and CP are equally safe surgeries, causing significant improvement in postoperative visual acuity in nanophthalmic eyes. FLACS, however, had greater RCS reduction than CP and also required significantly lesser surgical time and lower CDE than CP. FLACS was also slightly more beneficial in protecting the endothelium in short eyes.
