Efficacy and safety of tranilast combined with minocycline in the treatment of moderate-to-severe rosacea: a prospective, randomized controlled study
CONCLUSION: In our study, patients with moderate to severe rosacea treated with tranilast showed a favorable clinical response and experienced no serious adverse events. The combination therapy yielded better outcomes than minocycline monotherapy, especially in improving facial erythema.

Efficacy and safety of iguratimod in patients with primary Sjogren’s syndrome: a multicentre randomised controlled trial
CONCLUSION: IGU monotherapy demonstrated significant improvements in composite, systemic and serologic outcomes compared with HCQ in active pSS and was well-tolerated. These findings establish IGU as a promising therapeutic option for pSS, particularly in the subset of patients with hyperglobulinaemia.

Association of race and survival in patients treated with apalutamide: Pooled analysis of two phase 3 trials
CONCLUSIONS: In this study, the authors did not find any evidence of difference in the treatment effect of apalutamide on OS across patients of different races, although interpretation remains limited by poor representation of racial minorities. Among apalutamide-treated patients, there was no association of race with OS.

Remote ischemic conditioning in necrotizing enterocolitis: an extended phase I safety study
CONCLUSIONS: RIC intervention with 5-min ischemia-reperfusion cycles is safe. RIC is also safe when extended to extremely preterm neonates with confirmed medical or surgical NEC.

Pooled randomised QUARTET trials assessing effectiveness of a single pill for hypertension
CONCLUSION: This prospective individual participant data pooled analysis provides further evidence that the quadpill strategy is superior to initial monotherapy by virtue of improved BP-lowering, less need for uptitration and being associated with less treatment inertia.

Effects of music and conversation on pain and anxiety levels during transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy: a randomized-controlled prospective study
CONCLUSIONS: The study demonstrated that listening to music had no significant effect on pain and anxiety in patients undergoing TRUS-PBx. Conversely, the findings showed that engaging patients in conversation significantly reduced pain and anxiety during the procedure.

Impact of partial restoration margin level in combination with connective tissue graft on the treatment of single RT1 gingival recessions associated with non-carious cervical lesions: a 1-year randomized parallel-group trial
CONCLUSIONS: PR margins at or 1 mm apical to the CEJ provided similar clinical and esthetic outcomes when combined with CAF + CTG. The CEJ-1 approach improved early patient comfort without compromising root coverage.
