CONCLUSION: Twelve weeks of concurrent interval resistance-aerobic training, especially when combined with fisetin, improved inflammatory resolution (↑Maresin‑1, ↓IL‑6, and ↓TNF‑α) and metabolic control (↓FBS, ↓insulin, and ↓HOMA‑IR) in obese men. The synergy between exercise‑induced adaptations and fisetin’s anti‑inflammatory properties offers a promising non‑pharmacological strategy for mitigating obesity‑related metabolic risk.

CONCLUSION: The expressive writing intervention would improve optimism and promote more positive coping modes for newly diagnosed people with HIV.

CONCLUSIONS: Preliminary findings suggest that a digital DA with personalised and gamified content may enhance CRC screening uptake and partially support informed choice. Larger, multisite studies are warranted to evaluate scalability, inclusivity, and long-term effectiveness in population-based cancer prevention.

OBJECTIVE: This secondary analysis of a randomised controlled pilot study (n = 87 patients) examined how transdiagnostic factors-including emotion regulation mechanisms (emotion beliefs, cognitive reappraisal, emotion suppression and experiential avoidance) and negative affectivity-relate to depressive, anxiety and somatic symptoms in the primary care setting, and whether emotion regulation mechanisms provide potential screening relevance beyond negative…

Objective: To compare the efficacy of lorazepam and diazepam in managing alcohol withdrawal and associated anxiety and depressive symptoms in alcohol dependence syndrome.

Hypertension is a prevalent and significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD). The immune system and inflammatory response are involved in the pathophysiology of hypertension. We hypothesize that treating hypertension with colchicine on top of standard therapy, will decrease pulse wave velocity (PWV), left ventricular mass, cardiac/inflammatory biomarkers. COHERENT was an investigator-initiated, single-center, prospective, randomized,…

CONCLUSION: The study highlights the importance of systematic approach and documentation for adapting implementation strategies to real-world conditions. The modified strategies intend to offer a feasible approach to integrated MSUD care in Faridabad district of Haryana. The findings indicate feasibility and system fit. Further evaluation is required to assess effectiveness and scalability.

CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: In this randomized clinical trial of chlamydia screening, an alert directed to medical assistants was associated with increased odds of a test ordered in primary care practices. This study’s results suggest that an alert could increase the proportion of women screened for chlamydia and reduce the reproductive sequelae of this common STD.

BACKGROUND: Prasinezumab has previously shown potential for reducing the progression of motor signs (Movement Disorder Society-sponsored Revision of the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale [MDS-UPDRS] Part III) in patients with early-stage Parkinson’s disease who were treatment-naive or receiving monoamine oxidase type B (MAO-B) inhibitors. The aim of the PADOVA trial was to evaluate the efficacy…

INTRODUCTION: In many countries, a high or increasing rate of sickness absence is challenging the sustainability of present sickness absence benefit schemes. Most sickness absence is certified on the grounds of common mental disorders or musculoskeletal disorders, and substantial effort has been invested in developing interventions promoting return to work for these patients. In Norway,…
