First-in-Human Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of Single and Multiple Ascending Oral Doses of BIIB091, an Oral BTK Inhibitor, in Healthy Adult Participants
CONCLUSION: BIIB091 was well tolerated at single doses up to 1200 mg and repeated doses up to 300 mg BID, showing dose-linear PK and sustained effective B cell activation suppression. BIIB091 PK appeared to be sensitive to food effect. These important insights support its continued development for MS.

Impact of body mass index on the efficacy of acupuncture treatment of postprandial distress syndrome: secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial
CONCLUSION: This subgroup analysis indicated that acupuncture improved PDS symptoms across different BMI categories. Acupuncture was suggested as a viable therapeutic option for patients with PDS, particularly those with a higher BMI.

Beneficial effects of Huanglian Jiedu decoction ( ) on metabolic syndrome: a prospective randomized controlled clinical trial
CONCLUSION: It can be concluded that HLJDD contributes to ameliorating metabolic disorders in individuals suffering from metabolic syndrome. The data also imply that the beneficial effects of HLJDD on metabolism might be attributed to its role in enhancing FGF-21 secretion, which is otherwise compromised due to metabolic inflammation.

Photobiomodulation in wounds of individuals with diabetes: a nonrandomized pilot study
CONCLUSION: Application of photobiomodulation at an intensity of 2 J/cm² once a week did not produce measurable changes in cytokine gene expression. However, significant reduction in wound area and improvement in tissue repair were observed in patients treated with photobiomodulation.

Does Oral Chromium Withstand Steroid Hyperglycemia in Postinterventional Ultrasound-guided Sacroiliac Joint Injections in Patients With Diabetes: A Double Blind Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSIONS: Chromium supplementation improves glycemic control and reduces analgesic dependence in patients with diabetes who had an SIJ injection. Chromium supplementation therapy is a safe and cost-effective adjunct to standard diabetes management.

Bright IDEAS-YA Skills Training and Psychosocial Outcomes of Young Adults With Cancer: A Randomized Clinical Trial
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: In this randomized clinical trial of Bright IDEAS-YA, intervention participants had significantly reduced distress and improved HRQOL relative to control. These findings suggest that Bright IDEAS-YA may be offered as supportive care for YAs with cancer to improve psychosocial outcomes.

Cost-effectiveness of tirzepatide versus semaglutide for patients with obesity or overweight in the US: evidence from the SURMOUNT-5 head-to-head phase-3 trial
CONCLUSION: Based on this simulation model, using head-to-head SURMOUNT-5 trial data, tirzepatide (MTD) had lower total costs and higher QALYs compared to semaglutide (MTD). This supports that tirzepatide (MTD) is a cost-effective treatment option for individuals with obesity or overweight compared to semaglutide (MTD).

Developing Hospital at Home tariffs in Denmark: a time-driven activity-based microcosting approach within a randomised controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: A transparent and reproducible tariff-development framework for HaH services was established using TDABC and microcosting. The model aligns reimbursement with actual resource use and care complexity and provides a transferable template for economic evaluation and operational planning.

Comparison of Compound Lidocaine Cream and Lidocaine-Prilocaine Cream for Pain Management in Facial Rejuvenation: A Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSION: Compound lidocaine cream demonstrated superior analgesic efficacy in this clinical comparison; however, differences in anesthetic concentration, application technique, and lack of participant blinding should be considered when interpreting these findings. Larger studies with standardized dosing and blinding are warranted.
