Pediatric Trauma Score (PTS) combined with blood lactate measurement provides clinical treatment guidance and prognosis prediction for children with compound injuries: a prospective study
CONCLUSION: The combined application of PTS and blood lactate integrates physiological status and metabolic information, which can significantly improve the accuracy of early triage of pediatric compound injuries, guide the implementation of rescue measures, and effectively predict prognosis through dynamic monitoring, providing a reliable basis for precise personalized management.

Therapeutic effects of selumetinib on diffuse neurofibroma and optic pathway glioma in neurofibromatosis type 1
CONCLUSIONS: Selumetinib shows therapeutic potential against NF1-DN, although with a lower response than that observed against NF1-PN. The NF1-OPG findings herein for this drug were exploratory only because of the small number of cases, but they may provide an additional clinical context for evaluating the broader effects of selumetinib across NF1-associated lesions.

Testosterone and docetaxel treatment effect on mortality risk in nonmetastatic high-risk prostate cancer: A predictive biomarker analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Low testosterone at diagnosis does not appear to predict a reduced mortality risk when adding docetaxel to RT and ADT in otherwise healthy patients with nonmetastatic high-risk PC, whereas normal testosterone does, which provides evidence to support testosterone group as a predictive biomarker.

Comparison of blood dopamine in Parkinson’s patients treated with levodopa carbidopa entacapone vs levodopa benserazide: A randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: In this study, no significant difference was observed in the short-term effects of LCE and LB combinations on plasma dopamine levels in patients with early-stage Parkinson’s disease with unilateral involvement. Further large-scale, multicenter studies with extended follow-up are required to assess long-term clinical outcomes, including motor response duration and adverse effects.
