Histopathological Findings of Appendix Specimens in Quiescent Ulcerative Colitis: Correlations With Clinical Outcomes in the ACCURE Trial
CONCLUSION: Active appendiceal inflammation is prevalent in quiescent UC and showed a trend toward association with relapse risk. Although the benefit of appendicectomy in this group cannot be confirmed on these data alone, the finding might be clinically relevant as relapse rates are significantly reduced in the appendicectomy group.

Safety and Preliminary Clinical Effects of a Herbal Balance Solution in Mild-To-Moderate Acne Vulgaris: An Open-Label, Single-Arm Pilot Study
CONCLUSION: In this open-label pilot study, use of Herbal Balance Solution was associated with short-term improvements in acne-related clinical parameters and skin barrier function and was well tolerated in patients with mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris. These preliminary findings warrant confirmation in randomized, vehicle-controlled clinical trials.

Perceptions of best practice, pain science and structure-focused education for rotator cuff-related shoulder pain: a content analysis of qualitative data from a randomised experiment
CONCLUSION: Participants with rotator cuff-related shoulder pain expressed generally similar emotional responses across groups, with small differences in treatment preferences favouring self-management in the best practice education groups compared with those who received structure-focused education. Those in the best practice education also less frequently reported needing potentially unnecessary treatments (eg, imaging, injections and surgery).

Randomized controlled trial on the effects of different antibiotic regimens in preterm premature rupture of membranes after 34 weeks
CONCLUSION: The 2 different antibiotic regimens administered to pregnant women diagnosed with PPROM after the 34th week of gestation demonstrated similar clinical effects in terms of maternal and neonatal outcomes. Remimazolam vs. midazolam sedation in upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in adults 65 years: Randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: In performing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in older patients, remimazolam can be a good alternative sedative to midazolam, whether used as monotherapy or in combination therapy.
