Effect of Ciprofol on Postoperative Delirium in Elderly Patients Undergoing Hip Surgery: A Randomized Controlled Trial
CONCLUSION: In this study, we found that ciprofol was associated with a lower incidence of POD and had a minimal impact on circulatory function. SIRT3 expression and POD were correlated. A serum SIRT3 level less than 1.565 ng/mL on postoperative day 1 may indicate a likelihood of POD, highlighting its potential diagnostic value.

Feasibility of a Randomized Controlled Trial of Large AI-Based Linguistic Models for Clinical Reasoning Training of Physical Therapy Students: Pilot Randomized Parallel-Group Study
CONCLUSIONS: While LLMs have the potential to enhance specific digital competencies in physical therapy students, their practical integration into the curriculum faces challenges. Future studies should focus on improving student engagement with LLMs and extending the training period to determine the feasibility of integrating this tool into physical therapy education and maximize benefits.

Prospective comparison of static versus dynamic images in abdominal ultrasound education — a randomised controlled trial
CONCLUSION: Dynamic images in ultrasound education improve comprehension of pathological findings over static images. These insights should inform the development and adaptation of future training programs and educational materials to enhance the quality of ultrasound education and diagnostic accuracy.

Assessing the Role of Statins as an Adjunctive Anti-VEGF Therapy for Clinically Significant Macular Edema (CSME) in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
CONCLUSIONS: Low-dose atorvastatin (10-20 mg) as an adjunct to anti-VEGF therapy resulted in better functional and anatomical outcomes in diabetic patients with CSME compared to high-dose atorvastatin. These findings suggest potential additional benefits of low-dose statins in managing patients with chronic subdural hematoma (CSME).
