Effect of Telemonitoring on Moderate and Severe Exacerbations in Patients with COPD: Pooled Analysis of Two Randomized Controlled Trials in Denmark
CONCLUSION: No effect of telemonitoring on hospitalizations for AECOPD was documented in this large cohort of patients with severe COPD. However, the telemonitoring group received significantly more treatment for moderate exacerbations. This risk of overtreatment should be considered when telemonitoring is used in the care of patients with COPD.

Transcranial direct current stimulation enhances the efficacy of wearable transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation for mild knee osteoarthritis in the middle-aged person: a randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: The four-week combined intervention demonstrated that tDCS potentiated the therapeutic efficacy of TENS in managing mild KOA. The combined protocol exhibited superiority over TENS monotherapy, with sustained benefits observed up to one-month post-intervention.

Measurement properties of disease activity instruments in peripheral spondyloarthritis: a post-hoc analysis of the CRESPA trial
CONCLUSION: While both composite and global outcome measurement instruments performed well in pSpA, composite scores like DAPSA, ASDAS and BASDAI showed better construct validity. The clinical remission definition was the most discriminatory response criterion.

Concurrent Treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Alcohol Use Disorder in Women: A Randomized Clinical Trial
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: In this trial of integrated treatment vs relapse prevention, integrated treatment led to a greater reduction in PTSD symptom severity and no detectable difference in alcohol use decrease compared with relapse prevention. These results support that integrated treatment can safely and effectively treat PTSD in women with AUD and ongoing alcohol use.

CONCLUSION: ACT-based awareness-raising may have the potential to enhance the quality of life of women living with HPV. Therefore, it is recommended that health, therapeutic, and behavioural centres use this method to support women with HPV.

Role of placental extracts in enhancing periodontal flap surgery healing: insights from periostin biomarker analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The adjunctive use of placental extract gel in surgical periodontal therapy demonstrated beneficial effects on healing outcomes. In addition, periostin shows promise as a biomarker for periodontal wound healing.

Impairment of neck and shoulder function after neck dissection: a comparative study of goniometry, EMG and paper pencil tool in a randomized controlled trial of level IIb preserving verses conventional neck dissection
CONCLUSIONS: The study demonstrates agreement between shoulder function measurements (goniometry and EMG) but discordance with NDII. This discrepancy may arise from the distinct constructs used by NDII to assess neck dissection impairment, highlighting potential limitations in its sensitivity to functional recovery.
