Treatment with dapagliflozin and empagliflozin reduces concentrations of N4-acetylcytidine in plasma, a biomarker associated with vascular damage
CONCLUSIONS: Treatment with dapagliflozin and empagliflozin reduced plasma concentrations of ac4C, which was correlated with parameters for vascular health. These exploratory findings may indicate inhibition of NAT10 activity as a potential contributor to the beneficial effects on cardiovascular and renal health by SGLT2 inhibitors.

CONCLUSION: A single subcutaneous injection of Firsekibart is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of gout flares. It provides dose-dependent pain relief with favorable pharmacokinetic properties and potential for reducing the risk of gout flare recurrence.

CONCLUSION: Low-dose aspirin had no effect on the rate of loss of healthspan among older community-dwelling adults. Future studies should explore lifestyle and behavioural interventions to extend healthspan.

Effectiveness of peer-delivered Problem Management Plus for Immigrants (PMP-I) in reducing stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms among Bhutanese adults resettled in Massachusetts, United States: a pilot randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: The PMP-I improved the mental, social and emotional well-being of Bhutanese adults (PHQ-9 score ≤ 14) resettled in Massachusetts. Peer-delivered, family-centred PMP-I offers a significant public health benefit; however, a large-scale, RCT involving diverse refugee groups is necessary to replicate its success nationwide and beyond.

Effects of total-etch and self-etch bonding systems on pulp sensitivity and the incidence of long-term complications following resin filling of posterior teeth
CONCLUSIONS: Self-etching and bonding 3M-Z350 nano-composite resin to fill teeth can effectively improve the therapeutic effect, reduce postoperative pulp sensitivity, enhance chewing function and have good interface sealing performance. The incidence of complications such as post-operation fillings and pulpitis pain is relatively low.
