CONCLUSION: Lactobacillus acidophilus supplementation appears to enhance the effectiveness of conventional antiepileptic drugs, reduce systemic inflammation, improve quality of life, and reduce seizure frequency in children with DRE. However, further validation is necessary.

The Effects of Lidocaine Patches on Post-Radiofrequency Ablation Pain in Patients With Hepatocellular Carcinoma
CONCLUSIONS: VAS pain scores, the primary endpoint, were not significantly different between the two groups. However, the objective equivalent cumulative dose of residual morphine was significantly reduced, implying that the lidocaine patch lowered residual systemic opioid exposure. We conclude that the lidocaine patch may be useful to reduce opioid use post-RFA.

Electroacupuncture combined with nutritional intervention for gastrointestinal cancer-related sarcopenia: a randomized controlled trial using ultrasonographic indices
CONCLUSION: This study demonstrates that electroacupuncture combined with nutritional intervention effectively improves muscle mass, dominant handgrip strength, physical performance, nutritional status, and body composition in patients with gastrointestinal cancer-related sarcopenia, with no significant safety concerns. This approach is worthy of clinical promotion to enhance the quality of life and prognosis of these patients.

Efficacy of Microneedle Fractional Radiofrequency Combined With Platelet-Rich Plasma for the Treatment of Melasma: A Split-Face, Randomized Trial
CONCLUSIONS: MFR is an effective and safe option for melasma in patients with Fitzpatrick skin types III-IV. Adjunctive PRP did not further improve global clinical pigment scores or ultrasound-detected structural changes, but may offer added benefit for erythematous and pigmentary features detected by VISIA.
