CONCLUSION: Rose bengal-mediated a-PDT, combined with mechanical debridement, showed superior efficacy in managing peri-implantitis by significantly improving clinical, microbiological, and biochemical outcomes. This approach presents a promising adjunctive therapy for enhanced peri-implantitis management.

Intermediate-Dose Cytarabine as Postinduction AML Therapy
CONCLUSIONS: Our trial shows noninferior outcomes in patients 18 to 60 years of age with newly diagnosed AML treated with low- versus high-dose cytarabine; this occurred with similar or lower toxicities. Utility, Costs and Cost-Utility of Amyloid-PET in the Diagnostic Process of Memory Clinic Patients: A Trial-Based Economic Evaluation From AMYPAD-DPMS
CONCLUSION: Although patients receive an early etiological diagnosis, the cost-utility after 6 months is not favorable for amyloid-PET. The cost-utility will need to be reassessed when considering amyloid-PET to select patients for anti-amyloid biologics.

Combined prognostic impact of initial clinical stage and residual cancer burden after neoadjuvant systemic therapy in triple-negative and HER2-positive breast cancer: an analysis of the I-SPY2 randomized clinical trial
CONCLUSIONS: Tumor size at diagnosis remained an independent prognostic factor in patients with TNBC and HER2-positive breast cancer with RD after NAST. In contrast, patients achieving pCR had excellent outcomes regardless of initial disease extent, supporting the relevance of pCR as a surrogate endpoint in breast cancer.

Programmed death-1 inhibition increases vaccine-induced T-cell infiltration in patients with prostate cancer
CONCLUSION: Neoadjuvant PROSTVAC in combination with nivolumab is associated with increased intratumoral T-cell infiltrates, increased circulating tumor-associated antigen-specific T cells, and with radiographic and biochemical responses in the mCRPC setting. Our findings support the idea that the addition of a vaccine to a tumor-associated antigen might improve the clinical activity of immune checkpoint inhibition.

Effects of combined diet and physical activity on glycemic control and body composition in male recreational athletes with type 2 diabetes mellitus
CONCLUSION: A combined therapeutic diet and physical activity program effectively improved body composition and biochemical parameters in recreational athletes with T2DM. This combined approach could be recommended as an integral strategy for diabetes management in physically active individuals.
