Calcitonin and procalcitonin measurement after cholecystokinin-2/gastrin receptor agonist stimulation in patients with advanced medullary thyroid cancer: results from the GRAN-T-MTC study
CONCLUSION: Procalcitonin concentrations after CP04 stimulation were highly correlated with calcitonin concentrations. Unlabeled CP04, if available commercially, may be considered an alternative stimulating agent in MTC patients, even in lower mass amounts. Further studies, including healthy controls, are required to prove this concept and calculate the diagnostic thresholds.

Effectiveness of Pharmacist Interventions in Improving Medication Use in Hospitalised Older Patients Diagnosed With Cardiovascular Diseases: INFAR Before-and-After Study
CONCLUSION: This study emphasises the role of medication reviews by clinical pharmacists in reducing polypharmacy, prescribing omissions, and inappropriate prescribing in older adults with cardiovascular diseases, demonstrating that targeted pharmacist interventions improve medication safety.

Effectiveness of Choosing Wisely recommendations in reducing physiotherapists’ intentions to refer for imaging and use electrotherapy for low back pain: a randomised controlled experiment
CONCLUSION: Our study suggests simply presenting Choosing Wisely recommendations to physiotherapists does not influence their intentions to refer for imaging or use electrotherapy for low back pain, even if the language of the recommendations is optimised.
