CONCLUSIONS: Short-term intervention with SAIDEs exhibited significant anti-inflammatory activity and reduced the prevalence of abnormal blood glucose markers. These benefits persisted even after 6 months of follow-up. However, over the 8-year follow-up period, intensive SAIDEs did not reduce diabetes incidence among prediabetic patients but did delay its onset. →

CONCLUSIONS: The diabetes APP has a tendency to improve the HbA(1c) compliance rate of T2DM patients. The APP can help reduce patients’ BP, and patients have a high satisfaction evaluation of the APP. Therefore, the study supports the use of the APP for self-management in people with type 2 diabetes. →

MedSAM2 introduces a robust foundation model for promptable segmentation in 3D medical images and temporal video data, built by fine-tuning SAM2.1 on a large-scale curated medical dataset. Key Highlights: 3D & Video Segmentation Foundation Model – Tailors SAM2.1-Tiny for medical domains, supporting volumetric scans (CT, MRI, PET) and sequential video modalities (ultrasound, endoscopy) with a… →
Computer vision is one of artificial intelligence’s most dynamic and rapidly advancing areas, enabling machines to interpret and understand the visual world. From self-driving cars that detect and avoid pedestrians to smartphone apps that instantly translate text, the power of computer vision drives countless everyday technologies. In this blog, we’ll explore five practical and impactful… →
Does PEMF Therapy For Pain Relief Have Side Effects? I’ve been exploring natural options for pain relief. I discovered PEMF therapy for pain relief at that point. It uses low-level electromagnetic waves. The goal? To reduce pain and inflammation. I started wondering, does PEMF therapy for pain relief have side effects? Many claim it works.… →
Current clinical practice lacks quantitative assessment methods for elbow joint movements. In response to existing research limitations, this study introduces the innovative elbow joint torque measurement device (EJTMD), which concurrently measures muscle strength and active range of motion (AROM) using a five-bar linkage system governed by a sliding mode control algorithm. Healthy subjects (n =… →

BackgroundAntibiotic usage is rampant in NICUs. The time of stoppage of antibiotics depends predominantly on clinical condition of the neonate and final blood culture report. Delay in availability of report due to lab logistics might delay the stoppage of antibiotic. Hence, we hypothesized that having a point of care BACTEC system in NICU premises might… →

A Coding Implementation for Advanced Multi-Head Latent Attention and Fine-Grained Expert Segmentation In this tutorial, we explore a novel approach that combines multi-head latent attention with fine-grained expert segmentation. By harnessing the power of latent attention, the model learns a set of refined expert features that capture high-level context and spatial details, ultimately enabling precise… →
