CONCLUSIONS: The on-treatment mGPS, as well as ACR and AIR, predicted outcomes in patients with HCC independent of and more accurately than radiological staging. Since, the mGPS is the most cost effective and widely validated score, we consider it best suited for clinical use. Prospective validation is needed to confirm these findings. →

CONCLUSION: Most caregivers demonstrated a clinically meaningful improvement in caregiver burden and/or depressive symptoms after receiving PST/DSJ. Notably, those who responded had higher symptoms of distress, including caregiver burden and overload and depressive symptoms and lower life satisfaction, and had care recipients with more severe dementia, indicating that those benefiting from the intervention were those… →

CONCLUSION: During TCM combined online group psychotherapy interventions-including education, skill-building, TCM lifestyle coaching, and peer-exchange platforms-patients developed sustained self-health management practices, improving psychological resilience and physical symptoms. This holistic, tailored and culturally sensitive approach fostered long-term recovery and independence of CRC survivors. →

Objective: To investigate the short-term effects and influencing factors of short-term personalized vestibular rehabilitation (ST-PVR) on acute peripheral vestibular syndrome (APVS). Methods: A randomized controlled study was conducted. APVS patients who visited the Department of Otolaryngology of Henan Provincial People’s Hospital from April 2024 to February 2025 were enrolled and divided into vestibular rehabilitation group… →

Objective: To examine the effects of two complete habituation training programs onsubjective and objective indicators in college students with motion sickness (MSD) and visually induced motion sickness (VIMSD). Methods: A randomized controlled trial was conducted. A total of 92 college students diagnosed with MSD/VIMSD, recruited from December 2023 to June 2024, were randomized into an… →

How to Build an Agentic Decision-Tree RAG System with Intelligent Query Routing, Self-Checking, and Iterative Refinement In this tutorial, we develop an advanced Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system designed to intelligently route queries to the appropriate knowledge sources, perform self-checks to evaluate answer quality, and iteratively refine responses for improved accuracy. We will implement this… →
Meet ‘kvcached’: A Machine Learning Library to Enable Virtualized, Elastic KV Cache for LLM Serving on Shared GPUs Understanding the Target Audience The primary audience for kvcached includes machine learning engineers, data scientists, and IT decision-makers in enterprises focused on deploying large language models (LLMs) at scale. These professionals are often dealing with the challenges… →
«`html 5 Common LLM Parameters Explained with Examples Large language models (LLMs) offer several parameters that let you fine-tune their behavior and control how they generate responses. If a model isn’t producing the desired output, the issue often lies in how these parameters are configured. In this tutorial, we’ll explore some of the most commonly… →
«`html How to Build, Train, and Compare Multiple Reinforcement Learning Agents in a Custom Trading Environment Using Stable-Baselines3 In this tutorial, we explore advanced applications of Stable-Baselines3 in reinforcement learning. We design a fully functional, custom trading environment, integrate multiple algorithms such as PPO and A2C, and develop our own training callbacks for performance tracking.… →
This study aimed to investigate changes in cognitive reappraisal as a mechanism of the unified protocol (UP) for emotional disorders. Data were collected as part of a larger randomized clinical equivalence trial that assessed the efficacy of the UP, a transdiagnostic cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), relative to well-established single-disorder protocols and a wait-list control. The present… →
