Selective removal of dental caries in permanent teeth: an 18-month clinical trial
CONCLUSION: SRCT was clinically effective in both mid-depth (D2) and deep (D3) lesions, addressing pulp sensitivity and restoration quality. In D3 lesions, it minimized the risk of pulp exposure while preserving dentin integrity, while in D2 lesions, it preserved tooth structure without compromising restoration performance.

CONCLUSION: Silicon intubation with MMC is comparable to external DCR in terms of safety and efficacy, with the advantage of being a less invasive procedure, more accessible with a shorter learning curve, and shorter operative time in primary acquired NLDO.

Tooth sensitivity and whitening effect of an in-office bleaching gel containing 2% sodium fluoride: a randomized triple-blind clinical trial
CONCLUSIONS: The incorporation of 2% NaF into the bleaching gel significantly reduced cold sensitivity after 90d, with no detrimental effects on whitening effectiveness. (IRCT20200906048639N1) CLINICAL RELEVANCE: The in-office bleaching gel containing 2% NaF did not demonstrate a beneficial impact on BS. Nonetheless, it did not negatively affect the results of tooth whitening.
