CONCLUSIONS: Implementation of HB-PrEP into a high-volume sexual health clinic seems to be feasible and acceptable to early RCT enrollees. This strategy has the potential to address individual and systemic barriers associated with initiating and persisting on PrEP, such as increasing sexual health agency and expanding clinical capacity to serve greater numbers of PrEP users.
CONCLUSION: The results showed that using guided imagery could decrease anxiety levels in patients undergoing MRI. Since patients’ anxiety is one of the most important nursing diagnoses, performing cognitive methods, including guided imagery, as a simple, safe, inexpensive, and effective intervention should be considered.
CONCLUSION: In this study, the focus was on disorders in the neck, and the obtained models revealed that individual and management interventions can be the main factors in reducing WMSDs in the neck. Modeling with ML methods can create a new understanding of the relationships between variables affecting WMSDs.
CONCLUSION: In patients with diabetes mellitus, 5-year outcomes were similar among patients treated with biodegradable polymer O-SES or N-BES.
CONCLUSIONS: Increased tobacco regulation was associated with enhanced quitting among participants in the EAGLES trial. Paradoxically, lower GDP, and more affordable cigarette pricing relative to a country’s GDP, were also associated with higher odds of quitting. Geographical region was also a significant independent predictor.
CONCLUSION: Exercise during neurotoxic chemotherapy is feasible and may attenuate CIPN symptoms and signs, perhaps via changes in interoceptive brain circuitry. Future work should test for replication with larger samples.
BACKGROUND: Undiagnosed HIV and schistosomiasis are highly prevalent among fishermen in the African Great Lakes region. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of lakeside interventions integrating services for HIV and male genital schistosomiasis on the prevalence of schistosomiasis, uptake of antiretroviral therapy (ART) for HIV, and voluntary male medical circumcision (VMMC) among fishermen in Malawi.
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: In this nonrandomized clinical trial, integration of perioperative exercise interventions using wearable devices improved physical activity (especially MVPA) and dyspnea at 6 months after lung cancer surgery compared with usual care. This finding suggests a promising role for wearable devices in personalizing perioperative rehabilitation strategies.
CONCLUSIONS: Applying 10 Hz rTMS to L-DLPFC significantly increased consciousness level in MCS patients. PCIst is a neurophysiological index that has the potential to evaluate and predict therapeutic efficacy.
CONCLUSION: The turning-based NIDTC exhibited the highest responsiveness for identifying gait automaticity improvement by providing a comprehensive representation of motor ability during dual tasks. It has great potential as a valid measure for early-stage PD diagnosis and rehabilitation assessment. Trial registration Chinese Clinical Trial Registry: ChiCTR2300067657.
