CONCLUSIONS: There is no evidence that antenatal corticosteroids have clinically important effects on general health and social outcomes up to 50 years of age.
OBJECTIVE: Chronic low back pain (CLBP) is a prevalent health condition worldwide. Several therapeutic interventions aim to improve CLBP. Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) helps patients better understand their pain from biological and physiological perspectives, which clinicians use to reduce pain and disability in patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Neuromuscular exercises (NMS) are also treatments adopted…
BACKGROUND: Professional guidelines recommend HCC screening in at-risk patients using semi-annual ultrasound with or without alpha-fetoprotein (AFP); however, this strategy has limited effectiveness due to low adherence and sensitivity. Increasing data support the potential role of blood-based biomarker panels, which could improve both aspects. The biomarker panel GALAD, comprised of sex, age, and 3 blood…
CONCLUSION: Whole-lesion histogram parameters derived from sCT IM analysis, and especially the 99^(th) percentile, can serve as imaging biomarkers of HER2 overexpression in GC.

Partial sleep deprivation (PSD) is an important risk factor for GAD development and a common comorbidity. Adolescence is a period of rapid brain and nervous system development, and during…
CONCLUSIONS: Each of insulin, C-peptide, IRS, and HbA1c were associated with incident T2D with the strongest association noted for HbA1c. While HbA1c was significantly associated with CVD risk, a novel IRS appears to be associated with CHD risk. Neither vitamin D nor n-3 FA modified the associations between these biomarkers and cardiometabolic outcomes.
CONCLUSION: The probiotic compounds investigated in this study did not seem to affect IBS-D patients’ gut barrier function, but showed potential anti-inflammatory and symptom-improving properties, which need to be confirmed in larger study cohorts.

CONCLUSION: Combining PSSE and MT shows potential benefits in alleviating AIS symptoms and improving QOL. Further studies to substantiate these findings are warranted.
CONCLUSION: The within-trial economic evaluation suggested that people with post-COVID-19 condition after hospitalisation should be offered a programme of physical and mental health rehabilitation as it likely reflects a cost-effective use of NHS resources. Hospitalisation for COVID-19 has become less commonplace: further evaluation in non-hospitalised patients may be worthwhile.
